Darby and Grayson in front of the Inidianpolis 500 Museum

We aren't big race fans but when in Indianapolis...

The museum is actually inside of the track

We drove around the track and saw the original bricks -
hence the name "the Brickyard"

The area where cars are serviced...

The car that won the first Indianapolis 500...
looks like a junker by today's standards

The famous Wasp...

There were tons of cars to look at

The Dusenberg of 1927

This Dusenberg was a cool one...

Could we see Grayson as a racecar driver?

How about Darby???

Now here is a real possibility!

From the racetrack we decided to see the Benjamin Harrison home

Benjamin Harrison was the 23rd President of the United States

The kids were not that excited about this stop, but were good sports...

Darby loved the rose garden on the side of the house

The tours were on the half hour so we waited for the next one...

Touring the house we saw the crib in which
Benjamin Harrison slept as a baby

We also saw the crib his grandfather, William Henry Harrison, slept in
Wm. Henry Harrison was the 9th U.S. President

Learning history made us work up an appetite...

Indianapolis is beuatiful city with lots to offer...
