Monday, July 11, 2005 - After our morning at the Jamestown Settlement, we grabbed a quick lunch and then decided to stroll down the Duke of Glouster Street the main thoroughfare in Williamsburg (www.history.org/history).  We didn't bother to buy passes to enter all the buildings since we were only passing an afternoon but the kids enjoyed playing in the stockades and looking at all the time period players and the colonial buildings along the street.  We hiked from the far end of the street by the Wren Building down to the Capitol Builing and back, pausing to photograph the kids in front of the Governor's Mansion.  We drove by the College of William and Mary in downtown Willimsburg and Grayson spouted out the early  presidents that attended that college.   We headed back to Kellie’s house to rest after a historical and educational day.
